Almost settled

Well, we are almost settled. YES, I will get pictures posted soon. We put up the tree this weekend and it looks good. We decided to just go with a small tree this year, but it's cute and we all like it. It's kinda chilly outside...I think it has warmed up to 20 something. Today was the coldest day so far. It's supposed to snow this weekend. :-)  K is really enjoying her new school and is on the academic team. Their first meet is tomorrow, the first meeting she went to was today and they put her in the lightning round. So proud of her and she is so smart. :-)

Not going to do as much baking this year as in the past, only one or two things. Which is probably good so I am not standing so much in the kitchen on my bad foot. Hopefully we hear the results back on the MRI soon and it's not as bad as it could be. But goodness it hurts MUCH worse now, it hurts almost as bad as when it first happened.

The day is almost here...

Tomorrow is the last day at work here in Ft Worth, SUPER excited!!! Supposed to be colder than it is here so there will be some shock with the weather. Have to get K a coat, lol.  Dallas is gonna have a little shock too.  He hasn't been on a road trip in years, I think he'll be fine and sleep most of the way.  It's gonna be a long drive either way, but worth every mile!!!

One week from today K, Dallas and I will have been on the road for a while on our way to our new home!!!  Still super excited that I get to work from home, get to work out the details next week. :-)  Have lots to do this weekend to make sure things next week go smoothly.  New pics will be up once we get up there so you can see the progress that's been made since we first saw the house. Thanks for all that you have done Steve!!!

FINALLY!!!

We finally have good news today!!!  The house is ours!  I turned my notice in today at work and if they have me work until the date on my notice...it will be November 4th.  We will head for Ohio on the 5th. YAY!!!!  I'm going to post pics of the house, these are before pics and a lot has been done to the house so it looks much better!
